I was commissioned in 2026 by Max Mara to create a ceramic installation entitled " Remains" for their new store in Taormina.
The installation is made of fifty pieces, all unique.
Inspired by the archeological remains of the Ancient Theatre and the mosaics of the Villa Romana del Casale,
I wanted to celebrate the "poetry of the void" through random cuts that evoke memory and history.
My wish was to express a parallel between Sicilian architecture and female figures inspired by the Max Mara archives.
